1. Who We Are

Bidicare is an Australian technology platform connecting NDIS participants with support workers and allied health professionals. Our platform is operated by Ryan McLeod (ABN to be updated upon company incorporation).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What Information We Collect

When you join our waitlist

• Full name
• Email address
• The type of user you are (participant or provider)
• State of residence or practice

When you create an account (at launch)

• Name, email, password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your password)
• Phone number (optional), user role

When you are a participant

• NDIS participant number, NDIS plan (PDF) — only if you choose to upload it
• Disability types, support needs, plan funding categories and amounts, support goals
• Communication and cultural preferences

When you are a provider

• ABN, NDIS Worker Screening Check number, qualifications and credentials
• AHPRA registration (allied health only), insurance details, skills, location

Automatically collected

• IP address, browser type, pages visited, device type, referring website

4. Sensitive Information

Your NDIS plan and disability-related information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act and is afforded the highest level of protection. We will only collect sensitive information with your explicit consent, given separately — never bundled into general sign-up.

5. How We Store and Protect Your Information

All personal information is stored on servers in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2). Your data never leaves Australia.

• Passwords stored as secure hashes (bcrypt)
• All data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Access to sensitive data is logged in a permanent audit trail
• Regular security reviews conducted

Retention: Account information retained for the duration of your account plus 7 years. Waitlist emails retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

6. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as necessary to operate the platform:

7. Your Rights

• Access: Request a copy of all information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out: Unsubscribe from communications at any time using the link in any email
• Complain: Contact us first at hello@bidicare.com.au. If unsatisfied, lodge a complaint with the OAIC at oaic.gov.au

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function. We may use anonymised analytics to understand site usage. We use Google Fonts (Inter) which may result in a request to Google's servers. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is designed for adults (18+). If a young person uses the platform, their guardian must register and manage their account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Who This Agreement Is Between

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Ryan McLeod operating as Bidicare (ABN to be updated upon company incorporation). By using the Bidicare platform or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms.

2. What Bidicare Is

Bidicare is a digital platform that helps NDIS participants understand their plans, track their funding, and connect with independent support workers and allied health professionals.

Bidicare is not a registered NDIS provider during Stage 1 operations. In Stage 1, Bidicare operates as an unregistered guidance and directory tool. We are not a support coordinator. We do not employ support workers. We do not provide clinical services.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. If you are creating an account on behalf of a participant under guardianship, you must be their legally appointed guardian. Providers must hold a valid ABN.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must not share your account.

5. Participants — What You Agree To

• Provide accurate information about your NDIS plan and support needs
• Rate providers honestly and fairly after sessions
• Use NDIS funding only for the support categories it is allocated for
• Not attempt to defraud the NDIA or any provider
• Notify Bidicare immediately if you become concerned about a provider's conduct

6. Providers — What You Agree To

• Hold and maintain all required credentials (ABN, NDIS Worker Screening, insurance, AHPRA where applicable)
• Notify Bidicare immediately if any credential lapses, is revoked, or is suspended
• Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or credentials
• Bill only for services actually delivered
• Operate as a genuine independent contractor — you are not an employee of Bidicare

7. Fees and Payment

Participants: A subscription fee applies for platform access. The current fee is displayed at the time of subscription. Billed monthly, cancel any time.

Providers: A listing fee applies for directory access. The current fee is displayed at registration. Billed monthly, cancel any time.

Stage 1: No payment processing for provider-participant sessions occurs in Stage 1. Providers and participants arrange payment directly.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Bidicare platform — including software, design, text, graphics, and the compatibility matching algorithm — is owned by Bidicare and protected by Australian copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bidicare is a technology platform. We connect participants with providers but do not employ providers, supervise service delivery, or guarantee the quality of any support delivered.

To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, Bidicare's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your provider credentials lapse, if you receive repeated low ratings, or if your account poses a risk to participants or providers. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@bidicare.com.au.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally.

12. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the version date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
